It is suitable for Western Blots and is specific for the ~104 kDa PTPH1 protein phosphorylated at Ser459. Immunolabeling is blocked by preadsorption Cof the antibody with the phosphopeptide used as antigen but not by the corresponding dephosphopeptide. Immunolabeling is also completely eliminated by treatment with lambda-phosphatase. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. |
