Description
Antigen Recognized Human, mouse, rat, rabbit (most mammals) in Species (tested so far). Recommended for Glandular epithelia. In immunoblot, the antibody is directed against the 52.2kD cytokeratin protein (cytokeratin 8). Exclusively reactive with cytokeratin 8. Cytokeratin 8 is present in simple type epithelia, in glandular epithelium and in most tumors derived therefrom. Epitope has been mapped to aa353-367 on alpha helical rod domain.
