Description
Recognizes human cytokeratins with molecular weights 52 and 45kD, corresponding to cytokeratins 8 and 18, respectively. Useful in the detection of adenocarcinomas, mesotheliomas and certain squamous epithelia-derived carcinomas. Interestingly, some epithelial tumors demonstrate cytokeratin 8 and 18 expression, but normal strati?ed squamous epithelium does not.
