Description
Rabbit polyclonal antibody to IRG1, which is also known as CAD. It is frequently found in the mitochondrion and is expressed in the microglia and macrophage cells. It is overexpressed in the LPS-tolerized macrophages. This protein can extensively act as a negative regulator of the toll-like receptors (TLRs)-mediated inflammatory innate response by stimulating the tumor necrosis factor alpha-induced protein TNFAIP3 expression via reactive oxygen species (ROS) in LPS-tolerized macrophages and is involved in the inhibition of the inflammatory response.
