Description
Recognizes rat NF-H. Strong and specific staining for NF-H with no crossreactivity for NF-M or NF-L. Species Crossreactivity: human, mouse, bovine and porcine. Does not react with avian NF-H
Immunogen
Recombinant fusion protein corresponding to the extreme C-terminus of rat NF-H, prepared from E. coli inclusion bodies by dissolution in urea followed by DEAE-cellulose ion exchange chromatography. Does not include the lysine-serine-proline multiphosphorylation repeat and stains neurofilaments irrespective of the level of phosphorylation
