Description
NEFH / NF-H Antibody (C-Terminus) LS-C37571. Specificity: Strong and specific staining for NF-H with no cross-reactivity for NF-M or NF-L. Reacts with NF-H in human, mouse, rat, bovine and porcine, but not with avian NF-H.
Immunogen
Recombinant fusion protein containing the extreme C-terminus of rat NF-H, prepared from E. coli inclusion bodies by dissolution in urea followed by DEAE-cellulose ion exchange chromatography. Immunogen does not include the lysine-serine-proline multiphosphorylation repeat and stains neurofilaments irrespective of the level of phosphorylation.
