OspA is a fusion protein with an MBP tag and was expressed in E.coli. Analysis by SDS-PAGE resulted in a pattern consistent with purified OspA and was estimated to be greater than 90% pure.

Applications
ELISA, Western Blot. OspA is suitable as a control in immunological assays. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band at 70.5 kDa for OspA-MBP, (28.1 kDa for OspA and 42.4 for MBP) in size corresponding to OspA by Western blotting in the appropriate cell lysate or extract.
