OspB is a fusion protein with an MBP tag and was expressed in E.coli. Analysis by SDS-PAGE resulted in a pattern consistent with purified OspB and was estimated to be greater than 90% pure.

Applications
ELISA, Western Blot. OspB is suitable as a control in immunological assays. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band at 72.7 kDa for OspB-MBP, (30.3 kDa for OspB and 42.4 for MBP) in size corresponding to OspB by Western blotting in the appropriate cell lysate or extract.
