Description
ESRRG Polyclonal Antibody. Estrogen-related receptor gamma (ERR gamma, ERR3, NR3B3) is an orphan member of the nuclear hormone receptor superfamily. All the ERR family members (1,2, and 3) share an almost identical DNA-binding domain, which has 68% amino acid identity with that of estrogen receptor. Studies involving the crystal structure of the LBD have shown a complex between ERR3 and SRC-1. ERR3 binds as a homodimer to direct repeats (5'-AGG TCA-3'), to extended half-sites, and to the inverted estrogen response element. The corresponding gene for the ERR3 is NR3B3.
