ELISA, Western Blot. Anti-Alpha B-crystallin Antibody is recommended for use in WB and ELISA. Expect a band approximately ~20kDa (predicted mol.weight is ~21kDa) corresponding to αB-crystallin. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

Description
Anti-Alpha B Crystallin Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Alpha B Crystallin from Human and bovine based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Does not cross-react with αA-crystallin, βL-crystallin, βH-crystallin, γ-crystallin, Hsp25, Hsp27 or Hsp47 proteins. Cross-reactivity with Alpha B Crystallin from other sources has not been determined. Heat Shock research.

Alpha B Crystallin Antibody was produced in mice by repeated immunizations with Native Alpha B Crystallin protein.
