The QuantiGlo Human IL-2 Chemiluminescent Immunoassay is a 5.5 hour solid phase ELISA designed to measure IL-2 levels in cell culture supernates, serum, and plasma. It contains E. coli-expressed recombinant human IL-2 and antibodies raised against the recombinant factor. It has been shown to accurately quantitate recombinant human IL-2. Results obtained using natural human IL-2 showed linear curves that were parallel to the standard curves obtained using the recombinant QuantiGlo kit standards. These results indicate that this kit can be used to determine relative mass values for natural human IL-2. Range: 1.70 - 1250 pg/mL. Sensitivity: 0.25 pg/mL. Time: 5.5 hours
