Description
Recognizes the peptide core of gastric mucin M1 (>1000kD) (recently identified as Mucin 5AC) MUC5AC. Its epitope is destroyed by beta-mercaptoethanol and proteases but not by periodate treatment. Species Crossreactivity: human, monkey, rabbit, feline, mouse, rat, porcine, hedgehog, chicken. Does not react with bovine.
