Description
Recognizes human C3d, a fragment of the alpha chain. Epitope specificity differs from that of clones 6F63, 6F64, and 6F65 but overlaps slightly as determined by inhibition ELISA. Reacts strongly with C3. Strong reaction is seen in ELISA with C3 directly coated onto the microtiterwell, or when used as detection antibody in sandwich ELISA in combination with a polyclonal antibody against C3. In Western Blot after SDS-PAGE, this antibody reacts with C3 in reduced as well as nonreduced forms.
