Dynein transports various cellular cargo by 'walking' along cytoskeletal microtubules towards the minus-end of the microtubule, which is usually oriented towards the cell center. Recombinant human DNAL4 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.
