BMP-6 Human Recombinant produced in HEK cells is a glycosylated disulfide linked homodimer of two 139 amino acid polypeptide chains; each monomer is expressed as the C-terminal part of a precursor polypeptide, which contains a 20 amino acid signal peptide and a 354 amino acid propeptide. The BMP-6 which has a total molecular weight of 26.2kDa is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Purity >95.0% as determined by analysis by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analysis.
