DescriptionASAP3 Polyclonal Antibody. ASAP3, also known as Development and differentiation-enhancing factor-like 1, is a protein with two ANK repeats, an Arf-GAP domain and a PH domain. ASAP3, an Arf GTPase-activating protein, is implicated in the pathogenesis of hepatocellular carcinoma, and may regulate cell migration associated with the invasion of normal tissue by cancer cells, thus playing an important role in the regulation of GTPase activity. It is known to promote cell proliferation. ASAP3 also has functions nonredundant with ASAP1 to control cell movement and may have a role in cancer cell invasion. ASAP3 is highly expressed in primary hepatocarcinoma and is also detected in lung, liver and blood leukocytes.
