Mouse Anti-ACTN1 Recombinant Antibody (BA0388). This product is a mouse antibody that recognizes ACTN1. The antibody BA0388 can be used for immunoassay techniques such as: WB, ICC, IHC-Fr, IP. Alpha-actinin was initially isolated from rabbit skeletal muscle as a factor that induces the gelation of F-actin and promotes the superprecipitation of actomyosin. Alpha actinin is an actin-binding protein with multiple roles in different cell types. Subsequently, a number of different isoforms were isolated from both muscle and nonmuscle cells and from a wide variety of organisms. This gene encodes a nonmuscle, cytoskeletal, alpha actinin isoform and maps to the same site as the structurally similar erythroid beta spectrin gene. The native molecule
