Description
RORA Polyclonal Antibody. The retinoic acid receptor-related orphan receptor alpha (ROR alpha), also known as RZRa, is a member of structurally related, nuclear receptor superfamily. To date, ROR alpha, beta, and gamma subtypes have been discovered and within the ROR alpha group there are ROR alpha 1, 2, 3, and 4. ROR isotypes have been shown to differ in only their amino terminus. Research has shown that these proteins are key in regulation of many physiological processes such as cell growth and differentiation. ROR alpha is also critical for proper cerebellar development, modulation of gene expression in response to hypoxic stress, and migratory capacities of cancer cells. The corresponding gene for the ROR alpha is NR1F1.
