Description
Mouse Anti-FTL Recombinant Antibody (8E1E7). This product is a mouse antibody that recognizes FTL. The antibody 8E1E7 can be used for immunoassay techniques such as: IF, IHC-P, WB. This gene encodes the light subunit of the ferritin protein. FTH subunits exhibit ferroxidase activity, converting Fe(2+) to Fe(3+), so that iron may be stored in the ferritin mineral core, which prevents undesirable reactions of Fe(2+) with oxygen. FTL subunits are devoid of catalytic activity but are thought to facilitate nucleation and mineralization of the iron center. Brown et al.
