Target Background: DNAJC3 may act as an inhibitor of both the autophosphorylation of EIF2AK2/PKR and the ability of EIF2AK2/PKR to catalyze phosphorylation of the EIF2A. It also functions as a Co-chaperone of HSPA8/HSC70 and is involved in the unfolded protein response (UPR) during ER stress.
