    DescriptionEpitope: Phospho-epitopes on the tail domain of neurofilament heavy (and to a lesser extent, neurofilament medium) at KSPXK or KSPXXXK motifs. The antibody strongly recognizes polyphosphorylated epitopes on neurofilaments (and to a much lesser extent, on other molecules, e. g. rhodopsin and histones). RT97 reacts with neurofibrillary tangles and plaques [PMID 6178036]. RT97 cross-reacts with neurofilament medium. RT97 has been used as a cell marker for neurons.
