Surface Lipoprotein p27 is a fusion protein with an MBP tag and was expressed in E.coli. Analysis by SDS-PAGE resulted in a pattern consistent with purified Surface Lipoprotein p27 and was estimated to be greater than 90% pure.

Applications
ELISA, Western Blot. Surface Lipoprotein p27 is suitable as a control in immunological assays. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band at 73.3 kDa for p27-MBP, (30.9 kDa for p27 and 42.4 kDa for MBP) in size corresponding to Surface Lipoprotein p27 by Western blotting in the appropriate cell lysate or extract.
