| Description | This polyclonal antibody is directed against human Complement C3c and is an IgG fraction purification and is conjugated to fluorescein. Complement C3c, complement component 3 (C3), is a protein part of the complement system, which is encoded on chromosome 19 by a gene called C3. These group of complement proteins move freely through the bloodstream and work with the immune system and inflammation. The complement system protects the body from infection. People with C3 deficiency are susceptible to bacterial infection. C3 is predominately synthesized by liver hepatocytes and some epidermis keratinocytes. Therefore levels of C3 in the blood may help diagnose conditions such as Systemic Lupus Erythematosus or types of kidney disease. Anti-Human C3c (Complement C3c) Antibody is useful for researchers interested in inflammation, infectious disease research and cytokines & growth Factor research. |
