Description
STAP1 functions as a docking protein acting downstream of Tec tyrosine kinase in B cell antigen receptor signaling. The protein is directly phosphorylated by Tec in vitro where it participates in a postive feedback loop, increasing Tec activity. This BRDG 1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 41-70 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human BRDG 1.
