Purified ≥90%. Source: Recombinant corresponding to CD33 signal peptide(aa1-16) and human cathepsinB (aa18-339) with C-terminal HIS tag expressed in freestyle 293-F cells (NM_001908). Specific Activity: 2228pmol/min/ng Assay condition : 25mM MES, pH 5.0, 10uM substrate (Z-Leu-Arg-AMC), 10 minutes at RT. Prior to assay enzyme was activated with preincubation at 10ug/ml in 25mM MES, pH 5.0, 5mM DTT for 15 minute at RT. Applications: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors and selectivity profiling.
