Description
Purity ≥ 50% by SDS-PAGE. Human HDAC5 (GenBank Accession No. NM_001015053), amino acids 657-1123 with C-terminal His tag, expressed in baculovirus expression system. Specific Activity: 0.5 U/ug. One U =1 pmol/min. Assay Condition: 25mM Tris/Cl, pH 8.0, 137mM sodium chloride, 2.7mM KCl, 1mM MgCl2, 0.1mg/ml BSA, 30uM HDAC substrate and 0.4ng/ul HDAC5. Incubation Condition: 30 minutes at 30°C. Applications: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors and selectivity profiling.
