Applications
Western Blot. Anti-MEK 1/2 pS218/pS222 (Rabbit) antibody is suitable for use in Western Blotting. Specific conditions of reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band of approximately 45 kDa in size corresponding to the MEK 1/2 proteins phosphorylated at Ser218/222.

Description
Anti-MEK 1/2 pS218/pS222 antibodies are affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity purification. Immunolabeling is blocked by the phosphopeptide used as the antigen but not by the corresponding dephosphopeptide. Expect reactivity with the following species based on sequence homology: bovine, canine, chicken, human, non-human primates, rat, Xenopus and zebra fish. Cross reactivity with MEK 1/2 pS218/pS222 from other species has not been determined.
Immunogen
Anti-MEK 1/2 pS218/pS222 Antibody was produced in rabbit by repeated immunizations with synthetic phospho-peptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding Ser218/222 conjugated to KLH.
