Description
CAMKIV is one of calcium/calmodulin-activated kinases and it has been implicated in long-term neural potentiation, memory, and T-cell receptor signaling. This kinase has been implicated in transcriptional regulation in lymphocytes, neurons and male germ cells. The Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent CAMKK phosphorylates and activates the CAMKIV kinase and the threonine phosphorylation state of CAMKIV can be down regulated by PP2A dephosphorylation. CAMKIV Antibody, pAb, Rabbit is developed in rabbit using a KLH-coupled synthetic peptide within residues 250~300 of human CAMKIV protein (Swiss Prot: Q16566).
