Description
Human Anti-AKT1 Monoclnal Antibody (3813). Provided herein is a human monoclonal antibody against Human AKT1. The antibody, clone 3813, can be used for immunoassay techniques, such as ELISA and WB. AKT1 is a serine-threonine protein kinase, which is catalytically inactive in serum-starved primary and immortalized fibroblasts. In the developing nervous system AKT is a critical mediator of growth factor-induced neuronal survival. Survival factors can suppress apoptosis in a transcription-independent manner by activating the serine/threonine kinase AKT1, which then phosphorylates and inactivates components of the apoptotic machinery. Mutations in this gene have been associated with the Proteus syndrome.

Human AKT1 (Val106-Ala480) fusion protein. The antigen contains the complete kinase domain (aa 150-408) but not the N-terminal PH domain
