Anti-erbB-2 Antibody has been tested for use in ELISA, Western Blotting, Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence and Immunoprecipitation. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band at approximately 138 kDa in Western Blots of specific cell lysates and tissues.

Description
Anti-erbB-2 Antibody is an IgY fraction antibody purified from monospecific chicken egg yolks by a multi-step process which includes selective precipitation and salt fractionation followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Cross reactivity with erbB-2 from other sources has not been determined.
Immunogen
Anti-erbB-2 antibody was prepared from whole chicken serum produced by repeated immunizations with a 19 amino acid synthetic peptide near the C-terminus of human erbB-2.
