Applications
IF Microscopy, Western Blot. Anti-FTO (Mouse) Antibody is suitable for use in Western Blotting and IF. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band of approximately 58 kDa in size corresponding to FTO proteins in Western blots of rat testes lysate. This antibody has also been used for immunocytochemistry with neuronal progenitor cells.

Anti-FTO antibody is directed against human Fat mass and Obesity Related Protein. Anti-Fat mass and Obesity Related Protein is a Protein G purified antibody. Reactivity is expected with the following species based on 100% sequence homology: bovine, canine, horse, non-human primate, sheep.

Anti-FTO Monoclonal Antibody was produced in mouse by repeated immunizations with FTO- Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acid residues from the N-terminal region conjugated to KLH.
