It is suitable for Western Blots and Immunohistochemistry, and it is specific for the ~65 kDa Munc-18 protein phosphorylated at Ser515. Immunolabeling is blocked by the phosphopeptide used as antigen but not by the corresponding dephosphopeptide. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

Immunogen
Anti-Phospho-Ser515 Munc18 Antibody was produced in rabbits by repeated immunizations with a synthetic phospho-peptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding Ser515 of rat Munc18 conjugated to KLH.
