Aves Labs can characterize antibodies by direct and sandwich ELISA applications. This provides quantitative information about antibody titres, antibody specificity, and antibody binding, all of which can be useful in predicting optimal antibody concentrations for use in Western Blots, immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry (ICC). ELISA analysis provides quantitative data about the concentration of an antibody against an antigen as well as the binding avidity of the antibody for the antigen. These data can provide useful antibody dilution information.
