Recognizes human alpha defensin-1. No sequence homology with human alpha-defensins 4-6. Species sequence homology: monkey alpha-defensins 1-3.
Immunogen
Human alpha defensin-1 (HDEFA1) was synthesized from 94aa precursor protein (mature peptide 65-94aa). Synthetic peptide corresponding to 16aa near the C-terminus of human mature alpha defensin-1 (KLH).
