Description
Detects ~74 and ~54kD proteins, corresponding to the apparent molecular masses of synapsin IIa and IIb on SDS-PAGE immunoblots, in samples from mouse and rat.
Immunogen
A 14 residue synthetic peptide ASPGPERRPPPAQA based on the rat synapsin II (residues 52-65) was synthesized and the peptide coupled to KLH. This sequence is identical to mouse synapsin II of these residues.
