Purity ~98% (SDS-PAGE, HPLC). Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to 77aa from human IL-8 expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~8.9kD Activity: Determined by quantitating dose dependent chemotaxis with human peripheral blood neutrophils in a modified Boyden chamber. Chemotaxis was observed at a concentration range of 25-150ng/ml. The optimal concentration should be determined for each specific application. This 77aa residue form of IL-8 is the predominant form secreted by endothelial cells. Endotoxin: ~0.1ng/ug
