Description
Mouse IgG monoclonal antibody for Collagen, Type IV, collagen, type IV, alpha-1; collagen, type IV, alpha 3 (Goodpasture antigen); collagen,type IV, alpha 4; collagen, type IV, alpha 5; collagen, type IV, alpha 6 (COL4A1; COL4A3; COL4A4; COL4A5; COL4A6) detection. Tested with IHC-P, IHC-F in Human. No cross reactivity with other proteins. No cross reactivity with other proteins. Collagen IV is comprised of a third chain(alpha-3) together with the 2 classical ones, alpha-1 and alpha-2. COL4A3 gene is localized to 2q36-q37 by analysis of somatic cell hybrids and by in situ hybridization. The alpha-3 chain of type IV collagen induces autoimmune Goodpasture syndrome. Mutations in the COL4A4 and COL4A3 genes cause familial benign hematuria.
