Microtubule-associated protein 6 (MAP6), also known as stable tubule-only polypeptide or STOP, is a calmodulin-binding protein that is involved in microtubule stabilization and is also regulated by calmodulin. MAP6 regulates lysosomal trafficking and is involved in dendrite maintenance and morphogenesis.
