Mouse C3H/An connective tissue. Derivative of NCTC clone 929 and was established in chemically defined medium (NCTC 109). It was subsequently adapted to cysteine-free medium (NCTC 135). The cells have been used in nutritional, immunological and toxicologcal studies; nutritional, metabolic and enzyme studies; preservation and storage of viable tissue; fluid suspension culture methods and replicate culture techniques and quantitative cell culture methods.
